Union Pacific 100000

The Union Pacific 100000 is a McKeen all steel box car built in 1907. It was the first steel boxcar used by the Union Pacific. This car is in excellent shape for its age. It was used as a MofW shed in Wyoming. The dry weather conditions probably saved this car.

There is some miner structural work that needs to be done and couplers need to be remounted. As with most equipment when it arrives at IRM, it'll need a paint job.

How do I make a contribution? The museum is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization.
All donations are tax deductible.
