Illinois Railway Museum - Picture Gallery

In this Picture Gallery, a few options are available for viewing pictures in the database. A Random Search can be selected if you have no idea what you're looking for. You can also Browse by Year. This feature will only display pictures taken during the year selected. A Text Search can also be performed to find pictures. The search form can be used for finding all equipment by a road name or number, by photographer, by general location where the picture was taken, by equipment model or maker, or by various other keywords. The last option is to view all pictures in the Entire Database from start to finish.

Be sure to visit our Members' Photo Gallery as well. This Member gallery contains projects in the shops, photos of various equipment in service on the railroad, many photos of the museums past, and much, much more. It is updated frequently.

Some notes on image widths:
When viewing at 190 pixels wide, only 12 images will be displayed at one time. At 300 pixels wide, only 6 images will be displayed at one time. At 500 pixels wide, only 1 image will be displayed at one time. You will have buttons to navigate forward and backward to all items in your results list.
