07.29.09 - THE DEAD LEVER PIVOT POINT WAS MOVED ONE HOLE CLOSER TO THE TRUCK BOLSTER IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE PISTON TRAVEL.  AFTER THIS CHANGE, THE BRAKES WERE TESTED AGAIN AND THE TRAVEL WAS AN ACCEPTABLE 7 3/4 INCHES.  THE CAR WAS RELEASED FOR REVENUE SERVICE AND WAS MOVED OUT TO YARD 14 TODAY.
