Downers Grove - October 1959 - Frank Hicks (FrankHicks)

Description : Chicago & West Towns 141 is up on cribbing in the under-construction barn of the Electric Railway Historical Society in suburban Downers Grove, IL in October 1959 soon after its arrival. It had been used as a storage shed in Lisle for over a decade at this point but the body was still basically sound, and indoor storage at ERHS preserved the car for eventual restoration at IRM.
