12.27.06 - TOILET INTERIOR AFTER A REPLACEMNT TOILET WAS INSTALLED. THE TOILET HAS TWO COMPARTMENTS. ONE HOLDS FRESH WATER AND ONE HOLDS THE WASTE PRODUCT WHICH WAS DRAINED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR WHEN IT WAS SERVICED. FRESH WATER IS ALSO ADDED FROM AN EXTERIOR FITTING. 12.27.06 - THE SINK WHICH IS GRAVITY SUPPLIED BY WATER FROM THE TANK ON THE LEFT. THE WATER TANK IS LOCATED BEHIND THE STOVE AND THE WATER WOULD BE HEATED BY THE STOVE WHEN IT WAS IN USE. THE WATER TANK IS SIGNED BY A FORMER CNW EMPLOYEE WHEN THE CAR WAS IN CHADRON, NEBRASKA. LIGHT IN THE CAR WAS FROM KEROSENE LAMPS. PAPER CUPS ARE CONTAINED IN THE HOLDER TO THE LEFT OF THE KEROSENE LAMP AND THIS STYLE OF CUP WAS STORED IN A FLAT FORMAT. ON THE LEFT, THE LOW BIN IS A FORMER COAL STORAGE BIN WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY USED TO STORE COAL. IT STILL CONTAINED SOME COAL WHEN THE INTERIOR RESTORATION OF THE BIN STARTED.
