Donate
The Illinois Railway Museum receives no state or federal funding. All of the museum’s preservation and education activities, from the restoration and operation of the trains to the construction of buildings, maintenance of infrastructure and creation of exhibits, is done with revenue from admissions and on-site sales and with donations. Nearly all capital projects are funded from donations and IRM offers many options for donors to give to a specific project. The museum relies on supporters like you to keep the trains running and the restoration shops active.
