Equipment Information

Chicago Transit Authority S105 is a “steeplecab” electric locomotive built to haul freight over the North Side Elevated between Evanston and Montrose Avenue. In later years the CTA also used it for plowing snow. It was acquired by IRM in 2007 from another museum and is currently under restoration.
