Equipment Information

Santa Fe 1534 is an all-steel heavyweight lounge car. It has a large lounge with chairs for informal seating and a bar for light refreshments. It also has several open sections, which could be converted from daytime seating into nighttime bunks separated by heavy curtains, intended to be used on this car for crew sleeping accommodations on long-distance trains between Chicago and Los Angeles.
