Equipment Information

Soo Line 67 is a wood-bodied coach. It was built for the Wisconsin Central Railway as part of an order for 10 coaches. In 1909, the WCRy was leased to the Soo Line, and in its later years this car was operated by the latter railroad. It was used to carry passengers over the Soo Line system, primarily in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Around 1929, the car saw its seats removed and it was placed on a siding in Allentown, Wisconsin, where it served as the town’s depot. The car came to IRM in 1972.
