Equipment Information

Southern 10, the “Susan Marie,” is a heavyweight steel private car. Originally built by Pullman, it was rebuilt by the Southern Railway in 1948 as an office car, a mobile office and living quarters for one of the railway’s managers. It was sold by the railroad in 1975 and converted into a private railroad car that its owner could use for personal luxury transportation. Its interior features a lounge, dining area, kitchen, and bedrooms.
