The Illinois Railway Museum is being featured on an episode of Museum Access, a PBS television program which goes behind the scenes of museums across the country. Episodes will air on PBS stations throughout the U.S. Past programs have featured museums including the Field Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Terra Cotta Warriors Exhibition.
The museum is pleased to be featured on this exciting program that focuses on the practical side of historical preservation. Museum Access visited IRM in May 2018, with museum volunteers guiding host Leslie Mueller around several of the exhibit barns and shop areas.
