Equipment Information

Chicago Aurora & Elgin 319 is a heavyweight wooden interurban coach designed for high-speed service between Chicago and the Fox River Valley. It was rebuilt by the CA&E in 1922 with upgraded electrical equipment and its body was modernized around 1950. It has been restored to its appearance at the end of its service life in 1957.
