Equipment Information

C&NW X300902 was built as a streamlined baggage/tap room car for use on the City of Denver train between Chicago and Denver. Partly used for baggage, the tap room portion of the car was a bar called the “Frontier Shack” and finished in wood planking with western-themed decorations. This car was rebuilt in the 1950s for use in providing mobile accommodations for crews maintaining the railroad.
