Chicago Transit Authority 22 is an aluminum-bodied PCC type ‘L’ car that was built using recycled components from retired CTA streetcars. It was one of a series of 50 cars that were the last single-unit ‘L’ cars built for Chicago, all later CTA cars being permanently coupled in pairs.
