Chicago Transit Authority 41 is an aluminum-bodied PCC type ‘L’ car that was built using recycled components from retired CTA streetcars. It was one of a series of 50 cars that were the last single-unit ‘L’ cars built for Chicago, all later CTA cars being permanently coupled in pairs. Car 41 is restored to its 1990s appearance while in service on the Skokie Swift (now the Yellow Line).
