Metra RC50359 is a self-propelled crane (or “locomotive crane) known as a “Burro.” Burros were commonly used in the second half of the 20^th century for track maintenance and other utility chores.

COMPARE ME WITH: ComEd 19, a larger locomotive crane. The ComEd crane, while similar in design and construction to the Burro, has a higher lifting capacity and would have been used for a wider variety of tasks.
